IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies) summed up the results of their activity on metrology and electric power quality control for 9 months of 2016.

 IDGC of Volga, PJSC is accredited in the field of ensuring the uniformity of measurements for calibration of measuring instruments. This year, by efforts of metrological units of the Company and with the involvement of contractors, activities to maintain measuring instruments in working condition were organized and carried out, namely, verification of 18,235, calibration of 14,320 and repair of 1,426 measuring instruments were performed.

The specialists of metrological services of the Company's branches organized and conducted metrological supervision in seven company divisions (1 in the Executive Board, 3 — in the production departments (PDs) of Saratov Distribution Grids, 1 — in the PDs of Orenburgenergo, 2 — in the branches of IDGC of Volga, PJSC) for the compliance with the established metrological rules and norms.

The Metrology Unit of the Department for Metrology and Power Quality Control (DMPQC) of the Company is constantly conducting the metrological examination of documents (technical specifications, specifications for the design, technical conditions, design and working documents, etc.) to meet the specific metrological requirements, regulated in the existing normative documents on the subject of the proper compliance with metrological requirements.

Samara Distribution Grids, Ulyanovsk Distribution Grids and Penzaenergo organized and successfully passed the procedure of confirmation of competence and accreditation (at the Federal Service for Accreditation) of testing laboratories for monitoring the power quality.

 As of October 01, 2016, 1,646 centers of power supply of the Company's branches are certified; the power quality complies with GOST 32144-2013. In 2016, periodic power quality monitoring has been carried out by accredited laboratories on the power quality monitoring of IDGC of Volga, PJSC in 913 distribution centers.

Constantly, a technical examination of materials is conducted on technological connection of consumers to the distribution grids of the Company's branches, controlling the fulfillment of conditions for the preservation of the quality of supplied electricity to the previously connected consumers. Within the first 9 months of 2016, technical expertise was made for 198 specifications on technological connection of consumers.
