TGC-9 work om labour protection and providing reliable energy generation is admitted one of the best in the country.

The diploma “For work without accidents and traumatism” was instituted for purposes of stimulation of collectives of energy companies for providing the reliable work of the United energy system of Russia. This important award is given to companies in the absence of accidents and incident number growth during the calendar year, absence of accidents on production with fatal outcome, group accidents and decrease of total traumatism of employees and also absence of instructions of oversight bodies that were not fulfilled at a stated time.

Territorial generating company No. 9 became the only company among TGC and OGC that was rewarded with the diploma “For work without accidents and traumatism”. In the year 2006 as well as in 2005, there were no accidents in the production branches of TGC-9 and number of incidents decreased last year in comparison with 2005, on 10%. At that the number of incidents through staff's fault in 2006 decreased on a third in TGC-9.

About 11 thousand people work in the company and during the time of TGC-9 existence in company production branches there is the steady reduction of incident number on production. In the year 2006 in TGC-9 happened only two accidents on production and both of them are light.

The diploma of RAO “UES of Russia” became not the only recognition of TGC-9 work on labour protection and providing of accident prevention. Earlier the company became the laureate of Perm regional competition on providing the staff with means of individual protection and the production branches of TGC-9 won district competitions on labour protection.

The year 2007 was declared in TGC-9 the Year of labour protection and accident prevention. Major tasks of the Year of labour protection are maximum utilization of the accumulated experience in the field of traumatism decrease, introduction in TGC-9 of the control system in the field of labour protection and prevention of professional diseases according to international and Russian standards, development of the system of psychophysiologic providing reliability and security of professional activity and health protection of the staff. Besides, the important tasks of the “Year of labour protection and accident prevention” in TGC-9 are further introduction of modern certificated means of individual protection of the staff in the company, raising of production security level, prevention of traumatism of workers of contracting organizations at energy objects.

Arrangements on accident prevention won’t be limited by the year 2007 – according to its results TGC-9 will carry out the detailed analysis and the accumulated experience and workings in the field of decrease of production traumatism will in future be used at company energy objects.
