Today, the Gazprom Headquarters has hosted a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and William Burns, U.S. Ambassador to Russia.

The meeting discussed the ongoing cooperation in the energy sector, particularly pointing out the interest of large US companies in hydrocarbon production projects in Russia, including a concrete interest in purchasing assets of YUKOS. The meeting also examined issues with regard to the submission by US companies of tenders to perform contractor and service work in the Shtokman field.
