Today, in the Rosseti central office, Head of the company Oleg Budargin met with the Director General of the State Grid Corporation of China, Shu Inbyao.

The parties discussed future areas of joint work as part of the Strategic Cooperation Agreement, which was signed in May of last year in the presence of Heads of State.

During the meeting, there was talk of cooperation models for implementing projects for modernization and construction of power grids in the Russian Federation, as well as electrical equipment production. Including, discussion of current issues about creation of a joint venture to implement projects for reconstruction and construction of power grid infrastructure in the Siberian Federal District.

Participants of the meeting noted that 2014 was a breakthrough for Russian-Chinese relations in the electrical power industry, and noted the importance of strengthening cooperation, especially in the current macroeconomic conditions. Head of the State Grid Corporation of China, Shu Inbyao, thanked Oleg Budargin for his trust and for the desire to build reliable partnerships.
