Today, on January 22, during a working visit to Minsk, the Director General of JSC "ROSSETI" - Oleg Budargin - visited a number of power facilities of Belenergo, SPA and also conducted negotiations with his Belarusian colleague - Evgeny Voronov. As a result the parties signed an agreement on strategic partnership.

Oleg Budargin visited Grushevskaya and Petrovshchina substations, got acquainted with their technical equipment, discussed service conditions of objects with the personnel.

At a meeting with Evgeny Voronov there were discussed prospects for Russian and Belarusian energy systems, the participants exchanged of the views on heat deficit period (HDP) and outlined measures for long-term development of electric grids.

During the negotiations, the parties reaffirmed their intention to continue cooperation in the power grids sector development of the two countries, training, transfer of experience in terms of operation, maintenance and repair of power grid facilities.

The companies agreed on the mechanism of operative cooperation in the prevention and elimination of accidents and emergencies on power grid facilities, located on the border of Russia and Belarus.

An important direction of cooperation is an exchange of experience in application of technologies, development of smart grids, construction of new and modernization of existing power facilities for further improvement of safe operation of power grids and their sustainable development.

Companies will also share their practices on organization of technological connection of consumers to electric grids.

The outcome of the meeting is a signed agreement, which included all the reached agreements of the parties.
