According to Peter Markus, the aim of his visit is to study Severstal state of affairs, and also to carry out a research on positioning of the company in metallurgy.
Expert met with Vadim Makhov, Deputy general director on strategy and controlling, company Severstal-Group, Strategic planning department` specialists, made a tour to main productions.
"Severstal is among the profitable metallurgic companies, -P.Markus says. It`s due to a factor that Severstal works on cutting down costs and upgrading product quality. Another important advantage of Iron & Steel Complex is a programme of capital investments, meant for increase of productive capacities."
Rise of Russian economics and increase of supplies to the domestic market also stimulate increase of Severstal` profitability.
