With a view to save resources, Rail Transport Department is gradually abandoning the system of renting carriages and tank cars. "Nizhnekamskneftekhim" Inc is expanding its own rolling stock in order to maintain a continuous shipment of finished products. In line with this campaign, 77 boxcars were purchased during the last three years. In the current year, the rolling stock fleet has been increased with five new tank cars.

To reduce expenditure, Rail Transport Department places high emphasis on fatigue test to the rolling stock. This year, 119 tank cars have been tested, 118 of them have their service life extended for 2-5 years.
