On 29 July 2003, PJSC CenterTelecom summed up the preliminary implementation results of its capital construction plan for the first half year of 2003. The Company's interim indicators for the first six months are as follows:

One Hundred Eighty-Six Thousand (186 000) numbers are set into service, making up 125% as against the target figure.
Telephone number activations as per:
The city telephone network - 171 thousand numbers (128%);
The rural telephone network - 14.9 thousand numbers (104.5%).

Among the PJSC CenterTelecom affiliate entities, Ryazan telecommunication company, the Voronezhsvyazinform and Bryansksvyazinform telecommunications companies are gaining the lead.

Seven Hundred Sixty-Six (766) km of fiber-optic communication lines (FOCL) are put into operation. The bulk of FOCLs (583 km) was commissioned in the Vladimir Region. In the Moscow and Ryazan Regions 121.05 and 20 km of such lines were activated respectively .

The total of the capital investments has made up RUR 2 300 000 000.

COMPARE: the total of the capital investments for the same LAST-YEAR period was RUR 1 548 000 000.
