The activities of Rosseti Volga, PJSC relating to the technological connection of new communal infrastructure facilities to electric grids, providing water supply to the residents of the Saratov region, contribute to the successful implementation of one of the areas of the Housing and Urban Environment National Project – improving the quality of drinking water.

The 110/35/10 kV substation (SS) of “Varfolomeevka” provided 42 kW of electric power for the operation of the water intake and pumping station in the village of Varfolomeevka of the Algaisky district. The volume of electricity consumption is controlled by two metering devices with remote transmission of readings.

In another remote district of the Saratov region – Novouzensky – the power suppliers provided electricity from the 35/10 kV SS of “Gorkorechenskaya” to the pump in the farmstead of Stepnoy. The electricity consumption is also carried out using a digital meter with remote data transmission.

Connecting water supply facilities to the grids contributes to the centralized supply of rural residents with clean water, which is especially important for dry, low-water areas of the Saratov Zavolzhye region.
