OJSC “Dalsvayz” has made a balance of work for the first half of 2003.
According to results from financial and economic activities, Dalsvayz revenue is 3,016,900 thousand rubles, that is 23% higher the same period of last year. Telecommunication service revenue is 2,965,605 thousand rubles or 123.5% of the same period of last year. Cost of service comes to 2,530,402 thousand rubles. Sales profits make up 486 498 thousands rubles, that is 10% higher the same period of last year. Profit before tax is 297,457 thousand rubles and it is 5.2 times more than the same period of last year. Net income makes up 213,993 thousand rubles, and in the same period of 2002 it was 17,494 thousand rubles loss. The main reason of such poor profit in 2002 was reservation of profits to cover the amount of the bad debts in 2002 and previous years.
The average number of lines increased by 7 percent to reach 1,104,456 lines, as opposed to 1,035,773 lines in first half of 2002. Growth of access line equivalents throughout the Far East amounted to 22,923 lines.
Profit per line increased by 16% percent reach 2,7 thousand rubles as opposed to 2,3 thousand rubles lines in first half of 2002. Sales profit per line in first half of 2003 becomes 462 rubles and that is 8% higher the same period of last year (428 rubles).
The average number of employees reduces by 8% percent and makes up 18,341 persons to 20,002 persons in 2002. The average amount of month salary increased by ?? 39% from 6,290 rubles to 8,729 rubles. The number of lines per employee comes to 60.2 lines, in 2002 it was 51.8 lines.
