All Penzaenergo transformer substations received new certificates of conformity

All transformer substations of the branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (included in the Rosseti group) - Penzaenergo received new certificates of conformity for electric power supplied to consumers through the company's power grids.

Obtaining certificates of conformity means that the transmitted electrical power meets the requirements established by GOST 32144-2013 (clauses 4.2.1, 4.2.2): slow voltage changes are within tolerances, the nominal frequency of the voltage is 50 Hz.

The experts of the accredited electric power certification authority examined 198 transformer substations of 35-110 kV, which are under branch jurisdiction. They carried out a set of activities related to the measurement of electric power quality parameters. In particular, the experts analyzed the quality indicators of electricity for certain periods of time, conducted certification tests and measurements. The results of the analysis showed that all food centers that are subject to mandatory certification comply with the established requirements.

Certificates of conformity have been used in the power industry for over half a century. The rapid development of the country's power grid system, the creation in the 60s of the last century of large industrial enterprises consuming high power, together with the deterioration in the quality of the supplied electric power, forced contemporaries to come to grips with this issue. As a result, in 1967, the first GOST 13109-67 "Requirements for for the quality of electric power" was adopted. Subsequently, it was revised more than once, it included new indicators that allow more accurately describe and normalize the quality of electric power in the general power supply systems.

The new certificates were issued to the main substations of the Penzaenergo branch for a period of three years. However, during this time, the certification body will conduct a systematic control assessment to confirm the compliance of electric power with the established requirements, confirmed by certification.
