Russian machinery-building company Power Machines Group and Vietnamese construction corporation Song Da Corporation signed a Contract for delivery of equipment and carrying out service works for Se San 3 HPP (Vietnam Socialist Republic).
The price of the contract exceeds 61 million US$. The Project will be financed on account of the state credit granted by Government of the Russian Federation.
 In accordance with the terms of the Contract Power Machines Group shall carry out designing, manufacturing, supply, assembling and commissioning of the equipment for Se San 3 HPP.
Main equipment for Se San 3 HPP will be manufactured at Russian plants - members of Power Machines Group - two  Francis turbines with the capacity 132,65 MW each – at "Leningradsky Metallichesky Zavod", two hydrogenerators with the capacity 152,94 MW each – at "Electrosila" and auxiliary and hydromechanical equipment .
Construction site of Se San 3 HPP is situated on the confluent of the river Mekong – river Se San (central part of Vietnam). Execution of the planned works will stimulate economic growth of the Vietnam Socialist Republic providing new industrial enterprises with electric power.
The Customer is the Vietnamese state power corporation “Electricity of Vietnam” (EVN). Vietnamese construction company Shong Da won the construction part of the Contract on the “turn-key basis". Russian company Power Machines Group was authorized by Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation to carry out delivery of the equipment and service works
Se San 3 HPP is the second large contract in the field of energy signed by the Russian company Power Machines Group in Vietnam including contract for delivery of equipment for Uong Bi HPP.
