Specialists of Saratov Distribution Grids, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies), started repair operations at 110/35/6 kV Agregatnaya substation. During the repair, specialists will replace 110 kV high-voltage oil-filled entrance bushings for power transformer chambers.
A high-voltage bushing is one of basic structural components of the substation. The existing equipment is worn out and obsolete, and its standard service life has expired. For this reason, a decision was made to replace the equipment. Being more explosion- and fire-resistant, new cable bushings ensure low dielectric losses. The state-of-the-art RIP insulation technology (Resin Impregnated Paper bushings) is characterized by improved thermal and mechanical resistance properties.
New technologies will ensure reduced operation and maintenance costs. Agregatnaya 110/35/6 kV substation provides electric power for health care institutions, municipal water supply facilities, territorial grid operators, a number of major industrial enterprises and residents of the central districts of Saratov. Completed repair operations at the substation will contribute to reduced operational expenses of IDGC of Volga, PJSC and improved reliability of power supply for customers.
