The international magazine World Finance pronounced OAO LUKOIL a winner in its annual Corporate Governance Awards. The Russian oil company came in first in the category Best Corporate Governance, Russia, 2015.

Forty countries participated in the contest in 2014. When selecting the nominees and winners, the jury was guided by a wide range of criteria, including the system of governance, the internal and external audits, stakeholder relations, the composition and independence of the board of directors, the observance of shareholder rights, risk management and transparency.
