Pskovenergo branch of IDGC of the North-West will completely ensure electric power supply of a new neighbourhood of Pskov in 2012

Pskovenergo will spend on electrification of the facilities under construction over 18 mln RUR (less VAT) out of the 2012 investment program funds.
By the end of 2012, Pskovenergo branch of IDGC of the North-West, JSC will in full ensure technological connection of power receiver devices within the new Neighbourhood No. 12 of the region administrative centre. Construction of residential houses and infrastructure is in progress in the Zapskovye district of the city, within the locality enclosed by Truda Street, Zvezdnaya Street, Yunosti Street and Inzhenernaya Street.
Increase of the electric power grid throughput and capacity expansion for the new residential neighbourhood will, in total, make 7.56 MVA. Pskovenergo will spend on electrification of the facilities under construction over 18 mln RUR (less VAT) out of the 2012 investment program funds.
Electric power supply of Neighbourhood No. 12 will be provide by 110/10 kV Substation No. 282 “Ovsische”. For this purpose 10 kV vacuum circuit breakers are additionally installed at the feeding centre with two 10 kV cable lines with cross-linked polyethylene insulation being laid, their total extension exceeding 4 km.
According to Head of the Technical Development Unit Aleksey Abramov, during preparation of specifications for performance of construction and mounting works within the neighbourhood being constructed, the existing feeding centres of the city electric power grids were taken into account to the maximum extent possible. In connection with load growth the power industry specialists will switch Distribution Station No. 14 and the six 6 kV transformer substations engaged in the electric power supply circuit over to operation on 10 kV. All in all, fourteen 6/0.4 kV power transformers are to be replaced with 10/0.4 kV transformers.
