Director general of JSC Rosseti went to the government commission for the social and economic development of the Kaliningrad region. The corresponding decree was signed by the Prime Minister Dmitriy Medvedev on March 11.

The commission was established on December 22, 2014 with the goal to ensure coherence of activity of interested federal executive bodies, coordinating interaction of federal executive bodies, and the government of the Kaliningrad region in addressing the social and economic development of the region.

The commission, in part, will undertake a review of policy documents of federal executive bodies, concerning the long-term development of industries in the economic and social spheres, territorial planning schemes and federal target programs for development of the given constituent entity of the Russian Federation.

The chairman of the Commission is Dimitriy Medvedev; his deputy, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak; executive secretary, Director of the Department of the Government Liana Pepelyaeva. It is composed of government officials, and representatives of state-owned companies and banks.
