MOSENERGO (TGC-3)

November 1, 2001

Currently all electrical and mechanical equipment of AO MOSENERGO stations have been prepared for autumn-winter operations in 2001-2002

Igor Goryunov, chief engineer of AO MOSENERGO, spoke at a corporate conference on the results of the company's activities during the first nine months of 2001.

Since the start of the year the company repaired 8 power units, 21 boilers, 16 turbines and 12 water boilers. "Repairs of electrical equipment are carried out at power stations in accordance with the schedule without delays," Goryunov said.

The plan for transformer repairs for 2001 has been 93% fulfilled. 27 generators (85%) out of 32 (scheduled for repairs) have undergone capital repairs.

According to the chief engineer, the quality of repairs has significantly increased. „In comparison with last year we have no cases involving repeated repairs,” he said.
