In accordance with an order from RAO UES such certificates have to be issued to heat power stations and electric grids. However, AO MOSENERGO introduced stricter preparation procedures for the winter peak load season and required all its branches to receive such certificates.

The acting general director of AO MOSENERGO Arkady Yevstafyev handed these certificates to heads of 36 power stations and electric grids and 24 other branches of AO MOSENERGO. According to AO MOSENERGO's management the certificates of preparedness are a serious stimulus for company employees in the process of preparing for the winter season.

According Igor Goryunov, chief engineer of AO MOSENERGO, the company as a whole has taken all necessary measures to be ready for successful operations in the autumn/winter season. AO MOSENERGO has fulfilled all construction and repair plans. As of November 1, AO MOSENERGO has created additional fuel reserves exceeding the amounts required in RAO UES's order.

After successful completion of preparations for winter, AO MOSENERGO received a certificate of preparedness from RAO UES, which means that the whole system is ready to operate during the autumn-winter peak load season. Now the main task will be to train personnel in a variety of operations including emergencies and safety.
