Samara Distribution Grids (SDG), a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (subsidiary of Rosseti, PJSC), embarked on a scheduled repair campaign covering 14 overhead power lines (35–110 kV) and 58 substations (35–110 kV). The operations are performed within the framework of the annual repair program. The schedules works at power transmission lines include replacement of insulators and ground wires, repair of anchor support foundations, rights-of-way (ROW) vegetation management, and installation of bird guards at 110 kV power lines. As for substation, SDG's specialists will repair power transformers, bus isolating switches, surge arresters, circuit breakers, current transformers, line-isolating switches, high-voltage bushings, and 6–35 kV busbar sections, and will replace discharge arresters, pedestal insulators and automated switches. Sweeping repair operations will be kicked off at 110 kV Neftegorskaya-2 substation, 110 kV Sad-Gorog substation (Kinel-Cherkassky district), 110 kV Portovaya substation (Tolyatti urban district), 110 kV Natalyino (Bezenchuksky district), and 110 kV NSP-3 substation, etc. Almost all works are to be completed by the end of the month.
