Within the program of preparing the electrical grid facilities for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, the construction of energy production and technological complex — Posop 110/10 kV substation (SS) was completed in Saransk. In the 1st quarter of 2017 it is planned to put the facility into operation.

Also in the 1st quarter of the current year within the framework of the investment program of Mordovenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies), the construction of technological connection facilities is planned: two cables of 10 kV cable line from Posop 110/10 kV substation to provide power supply to the Arena Mordovia football stadium, two cable lines of 10 kV aerial cable for the power supply to Saransk airport.

The construction of the important facilities for technological connection will go on. Among them, the design and survey works on the construction of energy production and technological complex — Drakino 110/10 kV substation in Kovylkinsky district of the Republic of Mordovia. The works will be carried out in the framework of the state contract, which involves the construction Of a substation with the capacity of 2x6.3 MVA, as well as the construction of two branches of 110 kV overhead lines to the newly constructed Drakino 110/10 kV substation. In January 2017 the investment program “Construction of cable 10 kV line, 0.38 kV overhead line and 10/0.38 kV transformer substations for the power supply of private residential houses in the village of Bulgakovo in Kochkurovsky district" was completed.
