Power engineers of Samara Distribution Grids, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies), commenced the repair activities at Zavodskaya–1 110/10 kV substation located in the Sovetsky district of Samara. Execution of works at the power facilities will significantly improve the reliability of power supply to existing consumers, including socially important objects and industrial enterprises. Repair activities at 110/6 kV Zavodskaya–1 substation are carried out as part of the annual repair program. Power engineers will perform current repairs of two power transformers of 40 MVA each, 8 voltage transformers and 8 high-voltage inputs, 39 current transformers, overhaul of 49 cells of 6 kV and 41 switches. Additionally, running repairs of 1, 2 and 3 busbar sections (6 kV), 110 kV circuit breakers and 110 kV surge arresters. On completion of the equipment repair, substation territory improvement will be carried out. All repair works are carried out on a non-contracted basis and without disconnecting consumers. Zavodskaya–1 substation (110/6 kV) was put into operation in 1986. As a result of the works performed, reliability of the substation will be enhanced and, as a consequence, the provision of electricity consumers of the Sovetsky district of Samara, as well as such large consumers as Samara-Ice Cold-Store Complex, Samaralakto Dairy Plant, Samara Fat Plant and others.
