The meeting addressed prospects for cooperation with Singapore Exchange as an important initial step toward the creation of ROSSETI’s investment history in the Asian market.
“Asian investors have shown an interest in investment in strategic sectors of the Russian economy, and we believe that now is the right time to begin preparations for entry into the Asian market. If the grid sector gains additional appeal among investors, this will promote the conditions for further efforts in this area, including work on the possible listing of depositary receipts on Singapore Exchange, which will contribute to the creation of a liquid market for securities of Russian issuers on Singapore Exchange,” Oleg Budargin said.
