St-Petersburg, Russia; 10 December, 2014– Lenta, (LSE, MOEX: LNTA) one of the largest retail chains in Russia, is pleased to announce the opening of its twentieth and twenty-first supermarkets in the Moscow region.
The stores are located at 6 Il'icha Street, Noginsk and 12 1st Proletarskaya Street, Mytischi. The Noginsk store has a total area of 1,500 sq.m. with 893 sq.m. of selling space, 50 parking places and 8 cash registers. The Mytischi store has a total area of 1,533 sq.m. with 1060 sq.m. of selling space, 40 parking places and 10 cash registers. Both stores are open from 8 am to 11 pm, seven days a week. The stores provide a broad product assortment of approximately 6,500 SKUs including Lenta private label and federal product ranges alongside local produce. Both properties are leased by Lenta.
The opening of these supermarkets in the Moscow region brings the total number of Lenta stores to 96 hypermarkets in 55 cities across Russia and 21 supermarkets in the Moscow region.
