In the African expedition the m/t Arsenyev of Primorsk Shipping Corporation arrived at port Las Palmas trading her first voyage after repairs. There is new equipment on the board, established by the Portuguese ship repairmen, which is capable of collecting the used fuel from fishing vessels. The mounting of the equipment was fulfilled at the charterer's request and at his expense. M/t Arsenyev joined six vessels of the Corporation which transport oil products between the ports of Western Africa. At present, there are two 3 000 ton DWT tankers of Partizansk type: m/t Luchegorsk and m/t Arsenyev; four tankers of Ventspils type with deadweight over 6000 tons each: m/t Vanino, m/t Dalnerechensk, m/t Nagayevo and m/t Ussuriisk; and m/t Amursk of 5000 tons DWT which work at that region.
