Moscow, Russian - 15 February, 2008 - Mobile TeleSystems OJSC ("MTS" - NYSE: MBT), the largest mobile phone operator in Russia and the CIS, announces that its consolidated subscriber base reached 82.95 million users on January 31, 2008.
During January 2008, MTS' consolidated subscriber base increased by 0.98 million subscribers.
