On 12 February 2003 meeting of "UTK" PJSC management was held in the form of video conference for the first time. Using video conference is not new, but urgent necessity in video image at the Company's meetings appeared after the consolidation of telecom companies and creation of mega-regional operator in the south of Russia. Benefits of video conference are evident - people from different regions not only hear but also see each other. Presence effect contributes to mutual understanding, quick problem-solving and efficient work of management mechanism.

Vladimir Gorbachev, General Director of "UTK" PJSC, Deputy General Directors - Directors of regional branches of "UTK" PJSC, Deputy General Directors, Directors of Departments, Chief Accountants, economists, technical directors and legal advisers took part in the meeting.

Sergei Kharchenko, Deputy General Director-Technical Director of "UTK" PJSC, made the report on technical state of telecommunications. Deputy General Directors - Directors of branches of "UTK" PJSC took part in the discussion of this question from their local studios.

They also considered progress of execution of tasks set at the meetings in regional branches. They adopted the resolution on procedure of publishing a corporate newspaper and approved its name - "Vestnik UTK". The first meeting of "UTK" PJSC management and management of its branches in the form of video conference proved it to be convenient and effective. So video conference will be used by the Company in the future.
