The power engineers of the Samara Distribution Grids Branch of Rosseti Volga, PJSC, have started implementing the investment program. Over 1.8 billion rubles have been allocated for the reconstruction and construction of power facilities in 2021.
Among the branch's large facilities is the reconstruction of 110 kV Bezymyanka-3 and Pestravka substations as part of the work in 2 stages. It is also planned to reconstruct a 35 kV overhead power transmission line with the removal of 30 supports from the zone subject to soil erosion. Modernization works are planned at 83 power facilities of 35–110 kV.
Additionally, power engineers will replace power transformers at 49 Package Transformer Substations of 10/0.4 kV. In addition, the reconstruction of the software and technical complex of the network control center and the modernization of 2 dispatching boards in the areas of electrical grids will be carried out. As part of the investment program for this year, the installation of metering devices will continue in accordance with Federal Law No. 522 of December 27, 2018.
The plan of investment measures of Samara Distribution Grids was developed in accordance with the needs of the region in electricity and is aimed both at improving the reliability and quality of power supply, and at creating additional opportunities for connecting new consumers, forming a power reserve of the power grid complex.
