Under a resolution passed by the RTS Listing Committee the shares of OJSC Sibertelecom are to be given listing sheets as  RTS level-2 shares.  The listing procedure is governed by the Rules for Circulation and Listing of Securities.  

Listing sheets are part of the overall classification of securities eligible for RTS quotations.  Shares which are on level-1 or level-2 listing sheets are considered to have passed listing requirements.  The total number of these securities on the RTS Stock Market is 32 (7 on the level-1 listing sheet and 25 on the level-2 sheet).  There are more stringent requirements for these securities compared to paper with "simple" access to RTS circulation (mainly as regards equity standards, the number of shareholders, transparency compliance, etc.).   

Pubic shares which make it to the RTS listing sheets receive the status of officially recognized quotations, which are used by regulatory authorities (Tax Ministry, Ministry of Finance, etc.) and investors (banks, funds, insurance companies) in order to perform the revaluation of securities. 

Sibirtelecom is eligible for RTS listing as the core company in the regional Siberian merger, which is reflected as a growth in liquidity.  It is also interesting to note that RTS stock turnover for January, February and the first 10 days of March, 2002 was more than 33% of the overall trade volume in 2001.
