"UTK" PJSC continuous to develop introduction of new communication service on the network. 1H03 revenues from new service reached RUR 220,2 mln., which is up 61,8% compared with the same period of 2002.

1H03 basic part of revenues from providing Internet access (67,5 %) stood at RUR 148,7 mln., which is 2,1 times more compared with the same period 2002.

2Q03 proceeds from selling of service telephone cards (STC) constituted RUR 13,4 mln., which is up 15% compared with 1Q03. 1H03 number of ISDN's users in "UTK" PJSC increased by 30% and constituted 1799, the basic share fall to the companies.

1H03 "UTK" PJSC share in total tariff revenues constituted 3,84% from new service.

Company continuous to develop multi-service network of data transmission. On Krasnodar territory 4 access nodes are modernized. In "UTK" PJSC branch "Svyazinform" Astrakhan region" is increased modem pool by 480 ports, all assembled ports is supported by protocol v.90. In "UTK" PJSC branch "KabBalktelecom" is increased modem pool by 60 ports.

In 2H03 plans to carry out significant modernization of multi-service network in all "UTK" PJSC branches according to concluded contracts with systems integrators. IP MPLS technology is accepted as base technology for construction of network's fulcrum, which is the most qualifying provided service in the view of multi-service network, questions of protections and quality of service.

Alongside with modernization of networks' fulcrum is stipulated expansion of level of access. The basic emphasis is made for usage of switched access pool of AS5350, AS5400 universal servers in which is possible to provide Dial-UP, VoIP, ISDN DialUp service at various time on the equipment providing effective equipped ports.

As a whole input capacity of multi-service networks according "UTK" PJSC plans of development for the year 2003 will constitute allocated ports 8518, dial-up ports 9960; 144 modernized access nodes will increase volume of provided new communication service.

Except multi-service networks/data transmission networks expansion it is planned to create united control center, clearing-off system for multi-service networks service and nomenclature service. All this will allow to provide for customers all spectrum of service at any network point, it's important for projects realization and technology solutions selection on Southern Federal District basis.
