Moscow, Russia – May 27, 2016 – Mechel PAO (NYSE: MTL, MOEX: MTLR), leading Russian mining and metals company, announces the decisions made at the general meetings of 17, 18 and 19-series bondholders.

The holders of 17, 18 and 19-series bonds (state number 4-17-55005-Å, 4-18-55005-Å, 4-19-55005-Ådated 10.08.2010, referred to below as Bonds) have elected Legal Capital Investor Service, OOO as Bondholders’ Representative by absentee balloting.

The election of Bondholders’ Representative is a first stage of Bonds restructuring. General bondholders` meetings on restructuring terms will take place on 2 June 2016.
