Specialists of the production department of Orenburg City Electric Grids of Orenburgenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC, perform repair operations per several directions: repair of equipment of transformer substations and power transmission lines including installation of new supports and replacement of wire. “This year we have repaired electric grids in Sittsovka and Berdy settlements, in Talalikhina and Bratiev Bashilovykh streets,” said Stanislav Chufistov, Director of Orenburg City Electric Grids. “Wooden supports were replaced with reinforced concrete ones, self-supported insulated wire was installed.” In 2015, it is planned to perform capital and current repair of 226 transformer substations and more than 100 kilometers of power transmission lines. Electricians engaged in repair of energized electrical installations are exposed to life hazard, thus short time disconnection of power supply cannot be avoided. Power engineers hope for understanding by Orenburg residents of caused temporary inconvenience.
