The Gazprom headquarters hosted today a working meeting between Alexander Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Company's Management Committee and Alexis Humala, Special Representative of the President-elect of the Republic of Peru.
The meeting participants discussed possible ways of cooperation in the gas sector highlighting high potential of joint energy projects in the Republic of Peru.
Background
The Republic of Peru possesses some 400 billion cubic meters of proven natural gas reserves (6th largest in Latin America) and over 71 million tons of oil. In 2010 natural gas and oil production amounted to 7.24 billion cubic meters and some 7.73 million tons respectively.
