As part of the Information Day, the specialists of Central Production Department of Orenburgenergo, branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (included in the Rosseti Group) conducted a consultation meeting on energy supply issues with residents of the Ilek District. Besides the employees of the electric grid company, the event was attended by the First Deputy Head of the Ilek District Sergey Evdokimov, Chairman of the Council of Deputies Peter Mareichev, heads of local councils, heads of enterprises of the district.

 The Head of the Central PD Vasily Sevostyanov spoke about the work done in 2018 as well as about plans to maintain reliable and high-quality power supply to the Ilek District in 2019. This year, the specialists of Orenburgenergo branch plan to overhaul 150 overhead power lines, repair 132 transformer substations, clear the forest corridors in the protected area of the overhead lines from scrubs with a total area of 22.7 hectares.

 Vasily Sevostyanov paid special attention to the fact that the repair works will start in May, this time power supply to households, enterprises and organizations will be limited. This is a compulsory measure because electricians work on power lines and at transformer substations, the facilities should be de-energized for several hours to ensure their safety.

Three days before the start of works, the specialists of Orenburgenergo branch will give notice of the exact date, time of shutdown and the list of streets to the heads of village councils. They will place announcements on information boards of shops, post offices and medical and obstetric centres. The specialists of Orenburgenergo branch hold monthly meetings with consumers so that the residents of the Orenburg Region have the opportunity to receive detailed explanations on all issues of energy supply.
