Moscow, Moscow 21 2013- PIK Group, a leading Russian real estate developer focusing on large-scale residential projects within the Moscow Metropolitan Area and selected Russian regions, today at St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2013 has signed multilateral agreements with Regional authorities of the Russian Federation and the State Committee of the Russian Federation for Construction and the Housing and Utilities Complex for the implementation government program “Providing affordable and comfortable housing and utility services to the Russian Federation citizens”.
During the Forum PIK Group presented two pilot projects for affordable housing and signed two multilateral agreements between Group PIK, State Construction Committee and the Governors of Omsk and Perm regions.
The residential project is realized in accordance with the Russian Federation Presidential Decree.
In Omsk the project includes the construction of 1,020,000 square meters of affordable housing in the three districts for 33,000 people.
In Perm PIK will construct 976 000 square meters of affordable housing for 32,500 inhabitants.
The realization of these two new residential projects will allow to generate affordable housing stock in Omsk and Perm and resolve the problems with housing provision for such categories of citizens as orphaned children, residents of old and dilapidated houses, young families, the military, young scientists and other specialized categories of people.
