The Gazprom Headquarters today has hosted a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Alexander Filipenko, Governor, Chairman of the Government of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District – Yugra.

The parties addressed the potential for cooperation in the gas industry, placing a focus on matters surrounding gas deliveries to the region.

Cooperation between Gazprom and the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District – Yugra (KhMAD) hinges on the five-year Cooperation Agreement sealed in 2001 and related annual Agreements.

In 2005, Gazprom supplied KhMAD with some 570 mln cu m of gas and over 900 mln cu m is scheduled for this year.

At present, KhMAD has no natural gas debt and, as at August 1, 2006, gas deliveries to the region have been paid up at 101.5 per cent.

KhMAD’s residential sector is gasified by 22 per cent, including 31 per cent in cities, towns and population centers, and 13 per cent in rural area. The identical Russia-average figures make up 53, 60 and 34 per cent, respectively.

Within its 2003-05 investment programs Gazprom has committed in KhMAD a total of RUR 53 mln to construct a high pressure gas pipeline branch and automated gas distribution station in the settlement of Agirish (the facilities were commissioned in October 2005).
