Chuvashenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC (subsidiary of Rosseti, JSC), pursues its project of construction of 110 kV Kommunalnaya outdoor switchgear and 110/10 kV Kommunalnaya substation launched in 2014 in Cheboksary. At the moment, Chuvashenergo's specialists completed installation, start-up and commissioning of equipment in two cells of 110 kV outdoor switchgear; foundation works and installation of prefabricated modular building of substation control house; installation of two 6/0.4 kV (250 kVA) auxiliary transformers; installation of two lighting poles with lightning rods; and installation of cable trays, water supply and sewage system. After finalizing foundation works, Chuvashenergo proceeded to installation of metalworks for 110 kV outdoor switchgear equipment. This year's plan include installation, startup and commissioning of the equipment in four cells of 110 kV outdoor switchgear; installation of cable trays, secondary control cabinets, etc. The construction of 110 kV Kommunalnaya outdoor switchgear will be completed by 2016. This new power facility will serve a new Southwest residential district of the Chuvash capital and boost reliability of power supplies to the existing consumers.
