The Director General of JSC Rosseti, Oleg Budargin, had a working trip to the Crimean Federal District, where he continued a series of meetings dedicated to operation of the power grids sector of JSC Rosseti.

The event was held in an expanded format, with the participation of the delegation of the Russian Ministry of Energy headed by the Deputy Minister of Energy, Andrey Cherezov, the management of JSC Rosseti and the directors general of subsidiaries and affiliate companies of JSC Rosseti, as well as representatives of JSC Mobile Gas Turbine Power Plants and electric grids companies of the Crimean Federal District (CFD).

Meetings held on May 15 and 16, 2015 were devoted to summarizing the work of the Russian power grids sector in autumn-winter period of 2014-2015, to the implementation of Repairing Programme for 2015-2016, as well as to the current state and prospects of subsidiaries of JSC Rosseti in view of unstable financial and economic conditions, and to the discussion of specific measures for maintaining stability in the current economic environment.

Oleg Budargin thanked the directors general of power enterprises and labour collectives for their personal contribution and responsible work during winter peak loads, having focused on the fact that due to the professionalism, solidarity and mutual assistance the stability and reliability of the energy system of the country, including the Crimean peninsula, were ensured.

Under the repairing campaign for 2015 the head of JSC Rosseti instructed to pay special attention to the preparation of a distribution sector for summer peak loads. Separately, there was given an order to create conditions for trouble-free operation of power objects, providing power supply to settlements and towns near the Black Sea coast, which traditionally host a large number of tourists during a holiday season.

The meeting participants also discussed a wide range of issues related to the development of the energy system of CFD. Among them - the consolidation of the efforts and cooperation of subsidiaries of JSC Rosseti with power companies in CFD.

The special attention during the visit was paid to the possibility to expand the use of high-tech products and technologies of CFD for Rosseti Group of Companies. In particular, the delegation of JSC Rosseti visited Tavrida Electric's enterprise in Sevastopol, engaged in the development of innovative vacuum switching equipment (of medium voltage class) for the power industry worldwide.

The delegation visited the facilities of the Black Sea Fleet, also going on board of Pytlivy patrol ship, and laid flowers at the Eternal Flame at the Memorial to Heroic Defenders of Sevastopol City.
