On May 13, the management of ALROSA led by the company’s president Andrey Zharkov held a meeting with long-term customers.
The participants discussed current trends on the world diamond market and its future development prospects. The attendees emphasized the need for efforts to stimulate the demand for diamond jewellery in the world.
Speaking at the meeting, ALROSA’s president Andrey Zharkov noted that long-term contracts would continue to be the core of the company’s sales policy. Such contracts guarantee stable supplies of rough stones and provide a hedge against diamond prices volatility.
From 2015, ALROSA embarked on a new three-year contract period and signed long-term agreements with 48 companies. Full list of clients is published at the client’s website of ALROSA.
