COMSTAR – United TeleSystems (COMSTAR-UTS OJSC, LSE: CMST), a major operator of integrated telecommunications services in Russia and the CIS, announces that CJSC Digital Telephone Networks South (DTN) – leading alternative telecom operator in the South Federal District of the RF, member of COMSTAR-UTS group of companies, updates tariff plans package in respect of high speed Internet access services for residents of Rostov-on-Don and Taganrog, increasing data transmission speed by two times.

Starting from September 1, 2008, speed of unlimited Internet access, for DTN subscribers – physical persons, will be automatically increased by two times in the mentioned above cities. At the same time subscription fee remains unchanged. Thus, minimum speed of broadband access to external recourses of Internet network, provided by the company in Rostov region, increases from 64 up to 128 Kbps, subscription fee 250 RUR per month; maximum speed of access to external recourses – from 515 up to 1024 Kbps, to intranetwork recourses – from 1024 up to 2048 Kbps, subscription fee 1200 RUR.
