Since June 2015, Chuvash Power Sales Company, JSC, being the last resort supplier in the territory of the Chuvash Republic, fails to duly discharge its electric power payment obligations to Chuvashenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies).
As of June 1, 2016, the size of its undisputed overdue debt is 946.4 million rubles, including the services rendered a year ago, in June 2015, that are still not paid. With account of the price of services rendered by Chuvashenergo in May this year, the payment term of which expired on June 15, 2016, this debt levels 1.17 billion rubles.
Thus, the last resort supplier, having accumulated a debt for electric power services since 2015, pays these fees now only in the amount of current debt, and, thereby, always maintains its debt in the amount of about 1 billion rubles.
The current situation endangers safe operations during the autumn and winter season and the forthcoming large-scale repair campaign across the electrical grid complex of the Chuvash Republic.
