A working meeting of Alexander Hudilainen, the head of the Republic of Karelia, and Sergey Titov, the General Director of IDGC of the North-West, has been conducted in Petrozavodsk on the 19th of July.
A working meeting of Alexander Hudilainen, the head of the Republic of Karelia, and Sergey Titov, the General Director of IDGC of the North-West, has been conducted in Petrozavodsk on the 19th of July. Among the main issues of joint consultations are further development of electricity supply network of the Republic of Karelia, benefits of transition to RAB-regulation regarding to Karelenergo branch of IDGC of the North-West and interaction during preparation and operation during the autumn/winter season.
The parties approved attraction of financial resources to create and update energy infrastructure as a necessary basis for further development of the territories. According to Sergey Titov, transition to the new regulation method will facilitate favourable investment climate and attraction of investment for construction and modernization of power supply infrastructure. The RAB-method has been successfully introduced in the area of responsibility of Vologdaenergo, Novgorodenergo and Pskovenergo branches of IDGC of the North-West.
Sergey Titov described the benefits of power supply complex unification the within the framework of Federal Grid Company and IDGC Holding partnership: synchronization of investment and repair programs, joint response on any emergency situations, including with the assistance of mobile teams of the two largest grid companies.
A special discussion was devoted to preparation of power supply networks for autumn/winter season. In this year IDGC of the North-West is planning to receive Readiness Certificate by October 15. Karelenergo branch has arranged work to prevent and eliminate complex technological breakdowns, established close interaction with EMERCOM Main Directorate in the Republic of Karelia, engaged in work of the Main Office for Safe Power Supply in the Republic of Karelia.
The meeting was held in the Administration Office of the Republic of Karelia. Joint consultations were participated by Oleg Telnov, Chairman of the Housing and Public Utilities and Energy Committee in the Republic of Karelia, Dmitry Bukata, IDGC of the North-West Deputy General Director for logistics and procurement, and Efim Ashkinezer, Karelenergo branch Director.
