Based on the results of the publication of Interim Condensed Consolidated Financial Statements (unaudited) for 6 months of 2023 under IFRS, Rosseti Centre, PJSC (ticker – MRKC) – managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC (ticker – MRKP) prepared and published on its corporate website a presentation with the operating results of the companies for the corresponding period and guidance for 2023.

The presentation includes key production indicators, as well as financial results of the companies for the 1st half of 2023. An increase in revenue was recorded relative to the 1st half of 2022 due to growth in income from electricity transmission services and an increase in the volume of grid connection services. Due to the development of the non-regulated services segment, there was an increase in revenue from other activities. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) increased relative to the corresponding period in 2022 due to faster growth in revenue relative to the growth rate of operating expenses. The main positive impact on the growth of financial results was exerted by such factors as a decrease in the level of electricity losses, an increase in tariffs for electricity transmission services, growth in fees for grid connection and an increase in revenue from value-added services.

Regularly receiving feedback from representatives of the investment community, the companies expanded the amount of information disclosed in the presentation. The presentation materials are supplemented with new slides on strategic objectives and business models for electricity transmission. The presentation includes information about the factors that have the greatest impact on the economy of the companies in the reporting year. According to the companies’ forecasts, the implementation of the Business Plan parameters is assessed with high probability.

Along with the main task of ensuring the reliability and efficiency of the electric grid complex, an important area of activity for the companies is active development and application of the principles of sustainable development - responsible attitude towards climate and the environment, improving corporate culture and high social responsibility. The presentation pays attention to the goals and results in the implementation of the ESG indicators.
