On 12 December 2019, a working meeting was held between First Deputy Governor of the Tula Region - Chairman of the Government of the Tula Region Valery Sherin and General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region Igor Makovskiy. The parties discussed the passage of the heating period, issues of long-term development and digitalization of the electric grid complex, consolidation of the region’s electric grid assets.
The head of the company informed Valery Sherin about the implementation of digital projects in the Tula region, for which in 2019 - 2021 it is planned to allocate about one billion rubles. Igor Makovskiy emphasized that the implementation of digital technologies, first of all, will significantly increase the reliability of power supply, ensure the availability of equipment for technological challenges, as well as the adaptability of the grid infrastructure to new tasks.
General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region spoke about the completion of the first start-up facility for the creation of the Unified Grid Control Centre (UGCC) of Tulenergo, which includes a system of operational, technological and situational management of regional electric grid facilities. The cost of the first stage is more than 270 million rubles. The power engineers will complete the second start-up facility in July 2020.
Igor Makovskiy noted that the creation of the UGCC will allow optimizing the process of managing information and resources, as well as eliminating the human factor in terms of receiving, analyzing and transmitting data on technological violations in grids of all voltage levels.
Valery Sherin praised the efficient work of the energy company in the region and thanked for the implementation of projects contributing not only to the development of the electric grid complex of the Tula region, but also having high social significance.
In particular, it was about creating in Tula on the eve of the 75th anniversary of the Victory, on the initiative of Rosseti’s Group of Companies, the first memorial complex in Russia dedicated to perpetuating the memory of power engineers - Heroes of the Soviet Union and the Full Holders of the Order of Glory.
During the meeting, the parties also discussed topical issues of consolidation of electric grid assets, strengthening payment discipline, setup and maintenance of outdoor lighting in settlements of the region. Work in this direction will be continued.
