PJSC ROSSETI will create the internet portal to provide direct connection with consumers of electricity

Within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the ROSSETI Holding presented the Internet portal "The Light Country", which will help companies of the Group to establish direct contact with electricity consumers.
The project was launched by the Director General of PJSC ROSSETI Pavel Livinskiy.
"Uninterrupted power supply is our main purpose. To provide it, a well-established channel of communication with consumers is needed. They should have a possibility to communicate directly with the electric grid company of their region. That's why we got the idea of creating the Internet portal "The Light Country", a convenient form of communication", Pavel Livinskiy noted.
The project was presented by Director General Deputy, ROSSETI PJSC Chief of Staff Olga Sergeeva.
The new service is aimed at simplifying the interaction between an electric grid company and a consumer, who will be able to inform about the electricity supply problem in the simplest way and in a free form.
The portal is based on the simplicity and convenience of sending of information, as well as the speed of requests processing. The layout of the website is adapted for use on mobile devices and tablets, which allows to send a request from almost anywhere.
Due to the new resource, ROSSETI hopes not only to improve the feedback quality from users of electricity, but also to obtain the most objective and timely information about any existing problems and technological violations directly from consumers.
Appeals that can be addressed to the electric grid company via the Internet or the special mobile application will be sent directly to the company's specialists and processed immediately. Answers on non-operative applications will be given by ROSSETI specialists in 8 days, not 30, as it is now in accordance with the law requirements.
Within the framework of the portal "The Light Country", a separate service will also be created for the survey of the population, where consumers will be able to evaluate the work of power engineers, including work during the elimination of the consequences of mass power outages. Within the framework of the portal "The Light Country" a sub-section will also be opened where it will be possible to send an electronic application form for the technical connection.
The presentation was attended by the Governor of the Tver region Igor Rudenya and the Governor of the Kaluga region Anatoly Artamonov, in whose regions the portal "The Light Country" will undergo the test operation.
Having positively evaluated the launch of the new service, Anatoly Artamonov noted that the issues of electricity supply are top priority for each region. "Qualitative power supply is required by modern production facilities, social institutions, work on digital technologies introduction", the Governor pointed out. At the same time, he emphasized that one of the project main goals is to build civilized relations between suppliers and consumers of electricity. Having expressed hope that participation in the project will open new investment opportunities for the Kaluga region, Anatoly Artamonov expressed his willingness to contribute to its promotion.
"It is a great honour for us to be a pilot region in the major all-Russian project "The Light Country". It is especially important for the Tver region, because consumers will be able to report directly on problems linked with electric grids, as well as express their wishes and suggestions on improvement of the quality and reliability of energy supply. "We will develop our power engineering, PJSC ROSSETI and IDGC of Centre are reliable partners," Igor Rudenya said.
Regions connecting to the new service will be carried out in stages. At the end of May, preliminary tests of the service "Messages" will begin, at the end of June the service "Surveys" starts, and since July the portal "The Light Country" will be launched in its test mode in the Tver region and in the Kaluga region. The implementation of the project in all regions of ROSSETI presence is expected starting from January 1, 2019.
