On May 15, 2003 OMZ changed its stock registrar to JSC "Novi Registrator" (New Registrar). The transfer is intended to protect the rights of OMZ's shareholders by securing the independence and neutrality of its registry services.

The major shareholders of New Registrar are:

JSC OMZ -                                                                             6400 shares, 20% of the charter capital

JSC Eurocement -                                                                               6400 shares, 20% of the charter capital

JSC Krasnopresnensky Sugar Refining Plant -    2560 shares, 8% of the charter capital

JSC Univermag "Moskovski" -                                        2560 shares, 8% of the charter capital

JSC Trading House "TzUM" -                                    1600 shares, 5% of the charter capital

Management -                                                                      3840 shares, 12% of the charter capital

According to the charter of the registrar no shareholder can hold more than 20% of the shares in New Registrar.
