IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group) continues its work for diagnostics of transformer oil in oil-filled equipment. During the year, 26 chemical analysis laboratories of the Company performed 14,156 preventive analyses. They are conducted for the purpose of controlling the gases dissolved in oil and its physical and chemical properties. To improve the quality of analyses, equipment is being upgraded.
The specialists of IDGC of Volga, PJSC control the quality of the transformer oils in several ways: incoming inspection, condition during operation, gas content, regeneration with subsequent stabilization of AGIDOL-1 antioxidant additive. The level of water in the silica gel, the quality of the transformer rubber in the sealing systems of the oil-filled equipment is also checked. A promising direction is the regeneration of the transformer oil and the subsequent stabilization of the AGIDOL-1 antioxidant additive. During the period of use of this technology, the additive was introduced into 224 transformers.
The oil-filled equipment, especially power transformers, is an important, complex and expensive segment of the power grid complex. Oil condition analysis allows for early detection of the defects of transformers, high-voltage inputs and switches and their possible manner and the volume of damages. Diagnostics is carried out without stopping the power supply and changing its regimes.
The data obtained are used to monitor the equipment, its efficient and safe operation, the planning of repair and reconstruction of the power grid complex of IDGC of Volga, PJSC, owing to which the reliability of the power supply to consumers is increased.
