The debts of consumers of electricity transmission services to IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies), in the Chuvash Republic continue to grow. Chuvash Power Sales Company, JSC, a Provider of Last Resort (POLR) in the Chuvash Republic, remains one of the major debtors. Its undisputed arrears make 865.5 million rubles, and with account of the cost of services rendered in November of the year, this amount will increase to 1.2 billion rubles.
Other consumers also have overdue debt for electricity transmission services: Communal Technologies, LLC, as electricity consumer (4.1 million rubles), related grid operators Municipal Unitary Enterprise (MUP) Novocheboksarsk Municipal Electric Networks (4.5 million rubles) and Elektrotekhmontazhlaboratoriya Plus, LLC (0.6 million rubles).
The total amount of contractors' debt for the electricity transmission services in the Chuvash Republic exceeds 1 billion rubles, which leads to the significant under-funding of the current activities of IDGC of Volga, PJSC. Interregional Distribution Grid Company, exercising its social responsibility, in these circumstances continues to duly fulfill the obligations for reliable and quality power supply to consumers. However, such extensive non-payments for electricity transmission services cannot be a private issue of IDGC of Volga, PJSC, affecting the interests of the infrastructure safety and reliability throughout the republic.
