RN-Aero (Rosneft subsidiary) and KazMunayGas-Aero (KazMunayGas subsidiary) signed an agreement, substantially increasing cooperation between the Companies. The accord on the signing of the agreement was reached at the IATA International Aviation Forum in Dubai in the end of November.
Specifically, the document envisages the possibility of organization of high-quality RN-Aero fuels supplies towards KazMunayGas-Aero by means of conclusion of storage agreements at points of presence of the Kazakh Company. Moreover the agreement contemplates the realization by specialists of the companies of a suitability analysis of joint projects aimed at expanding the geographic reach in Middle East and Far East countries.
Within reached agreements training events are also planned: practical courses and exchange of experience in the area of Commerce and Logistics and new techniques and technologies in aviation fuelling implementation.

Rosneft operations in the aviation fuel business are covered by the subsidiary RN-Aero. In 2014 Rosneft became the Russian market leader by aviation fuel sales, the planned supplies volume in 2014 is estimated at 3.3 mln tons of fuel.
Rosneft exercise operational control over fuelling complexes in Sheremetievo, Sochi, Krasnoyarsk, Krasnodar, Gelendzhik, Anapa, Rostov-on-Don, Abakan airports. Moreover the Company holds depository cards in Domodedovo and Yakutsk airports. For the time being Rosneft exercise into-plane fuelling in 29 airports in the Russian Federation.
In June 2014 OC KazMunayGas decided to develop a new business sector and to enter the aviation fuelling market in Kazakhstan. This was done via the subsidiary - KazMunayGas-Aero. This company is a 100% subsidiary of KazMunayGas. Up to date the company signed contracts for fuelling with Kazakh air carriers in Astana, Almaty, Atyrau, Aktobe and Oral. The company is actively working on the expansion of the geographic reach and the construction or purchasing of fuelling complexes in the Republic of Kazakhstan. |
