On April 17, 2003 LOMO PLC granted to St. Petersburg the complex of light diodes traffic lights, produced by LOMO. It's become the first from the three gifts, whish enterprise has prepared to the jubilee of the northern capital. Ten traffic lights of new generation have already worked at the crossroad of Nevskiy prospect and Alexander Nevskiy Street. Vice-Mayor of St. Petersburg Anna Markova received the present of LOMO to the beloved city.

  In comparison with lamp traffic lights light diodes have significant advantages in technical and operating specifications, and also in their exterior. They are able to bring the contribution in the solution of the range of city problems - to raise safety level on streets of the northern capital, to make cheaper maintenance of road-keeping, to improve ecological situation in the city and to make the exterior of St. Petersburg much more attractive.
