Privolzhskoye Production Department of “Saratov Distrbution Grids”, the branch of “IDGC of Volga”, JSC, have completed the major repairs of the substation “Krasnyi Kut” of the voltage of 110/35/10 kV. The Volga power engineering specialists have repaired 9 switches of the voltage of 110, 35 and 10 kV, 16 disconnectors of the voltage of 110 kV, 2 short-circuiting line switches of the voltage of 35 kV and a section of bus-bars of the voltage of 10 kV. The substation of the total transformer capacity of 45 MVA provides residents of 17 settlements with electric power, including the town of Krasnyi Kut. It also supplies electric power to about 30 legal entities, among which social units and largest industrial and agricultural enterprises of the region. The major repairs will raise the reliability of the electric equipment and power supply in the autumn and winter period of power system maximum demand.
